DATA CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
Protection of your personal data and your privacy is very important to us. This statement is meant to inform you about how we handle your personal data.
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We collect and use your data from your registration for a customer account and to the extent that it is necessary for the completion of the purchasing process, but also to offer you an individualised purchasing experience. Your data will only be shared with third parties to the extent this is necessary to process a contract or complete billing. Your order will be processed for example by one of the service providers we use (e.g. shipping companies, payment service providers, bank) and you will receive the data necessary to complete your order.
If you subscribe to a newsletter you are granting consent for LANOUVE to use the data that you provide in order to send information to you via e-mail. You can revoke your declaration of consent at any time with future effect; you can do this by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. You also have the option of using the link provided at the end of every newsletter to cancel your subscription.
If we receive your e-mail-address in connection with the sale of a good or service and you do not register an objection, we reserve the right to regularly send you e-mail offers for similar products that we already have in our product inventory. You can register an objection to this use of your e-mail-address at any time by sending a message to firstname.lastname@example.org or using the link provided in the advertising e-mail. No costs will be charged for this.
USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We also use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics is also based on cookies and facilitates the analysis of the use of the websites. We also have activated IP-anonymisation for the website so that the IP-addresses automatically transferred with the user information will be abbreviated by Google inside the European Union or another state of the European Economic Zone before the data is forwarded to the USA for storage. Only in exceptional cases are entire IP-addresses transmitted to a server owned by Google in the USA and abbreviated there. Google uses this information in our service to evaluate the use of our website, generate reports on website activities and provide other services associated with use of the website and the internet. You can find information about Google Analytics status under data protection law.
The IP-address of your browser transmitted in the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent cookies from being saved by using the appropriate setting in your browser.
USE OF SOCIAL PLUG-INS
Our website uses social Plug-ins (“Plug-ins”) offered by various social networks. Using these plug-ins you can for example share content or recommend products to other people. In each case your browser forms a direct connection with the servers of the social network in question as soon as you call up the homepage of our website. The content of the plug-ins will be directly transmitted to your browser by the social network and integrated into the website by it.
Once integrated, the plug-in then provides the social network with the information that you have called up the matching page on our website. If you are logged in to the social network, it can assign the visit to your account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example, by clicking on the Facebook “like” button or entering a comment, the corresponding information will be sent directly to the social network by your browser and saved there.
The scope and purpose of data collection, the later processing and use of the data by this social network as well as your rights in this matter and the options you have in the settings to protect your privacy you will find in the data confidentiality and privacy instructions of the respective social networks or websites. You will find the links you need below.
If you do not want social networks to collect data about you through our website, you have to log out of these networks before you visit our website. This prevents the assignment of the collected data to your account.
Even if you are not logged in with the social networks, the websites with active social plug-ins data can send data to the networks. An active plug-in sets a cookie with an identification any time the website is called up. If you do not want social networks to collect data about you through active plug-ins, you can block third-party cookies in your browser-settings. But if you use this setting it is possible that other multi-site function will not longer function, either.
